After 14(age) years of living there I've gotten used to it, I mean come on it's not that bad.

Well, it depends on where you live in California.

Southern as you previously stated. Anyways California gets hot during the summer just depends if your used to it or not. Snow is good on occasions. Kthxbai.  :-X

Earthquakes haven't happened for quite awhile, well any noticeable ones anyways. Wild fires are only during the summers and happen only on occasions. Floods only and rarely happens during the Winter and Spring, Monsoons aren't that bad, and mudslides don't happen as much in Southern California, as for northern half, I'm not sure. Either way I'm quite happy with California.
