Ok guys, face it, the 6 month policy is not pleasant for spoilers.

So, let us get down pact what will be considered, and won't be considered spoilers. For those of you that don't know some of the vital things, plot, etc. then I advise you stop reading now, last chance.

Alright, the general things that are called spoilers are:
-Unlockables
-Characters
-Plot

The rest of those types of things. I am thinking we remove Cpt. Falcon,Luigi, Jiggs, and Ness from the spoiler warning. I also think stages should remain as spoilers, unless THEY HAVE NO CHARACTER, meaning, Electroplankton would NOT be a spoiler. All aspects of the SSE ARE TO REMAIN a spoiler. Music that is unlockable can be announced, but not how to get it......

So, what shall we call a spoiler, and what not? Please tell me what you would consider a spoiler at this point in time, and what not, so we may decide.

ANYTHING POSTED IN THIS THREAD DOES NOT MAKE IT A RULE, PLEASE KNOW THAT THIS IS A SUGGESTION THREAD. DO NOT ANNOUNCE NESS IS IN  WITHOUT A SPOILER WARNING, FOR INSTANCE, AS THIS IS NOT YET FINALIZED.

Won't work, as Sakurai uses a spoiler warning. Luigi's mansion would still be a spoiler, Luigi wouldn't be........as he is predictable.

But... I think that as long as we keep SPOILER in the title tags should be unnecessary.
Although, its just wishful thinking... I have no idea what is required by "law"

If you use a spoiler warning in the title, nobody has to post the tags IN THE THREAD, as it is.

Also, I agree with those characters, if it is determined by, say, 10+ more people that those shouldn't be, they will be removed from the warning.

But this is where it gets sticky, Ganon, Toon Link, that type of thing......

I feel it would be wise to remove those 4 for sure though, but we will see what others think.

I agree with removing Ness, Luigi, Captain Falcon, and Jiggs from Spoiler Tags.

I would probably go as far as saying remove Falco and Ganon too, but whatever is best.

I don't think that stages should be spoilers. Some characters don't have a stage, and vice versa. It doesn't give much away. SSE and Characters should remain spoilers.

Anything completely obvious isn't a spoiler.

Anything involving the SSE GAMEPLAY shouldn't be a spoiler.

Anything involving the SSE STORY should be a spoiler.

Anything on the Dojo isn't a spoiler.

Techniques aren't spoilers. (E.I: OMG! WAVEDASHING IS IN BRAWL! *Spoilers*)

A character's moveset aren't spoilers.

Anything unique about character's movesets aren't spoilers. (E.I: Reflecting projectiles with Ness' Bat.)

Any characters/stages NOT on the dojo, unless completely obvious, aren't spoilers. (For instance, Luigi wouldn't be a spoiler (If he wasn't on the dojo.), but [spoiler]Mr. G&W[/spoiler] or [spoiler]Wolf[/spoiler] might.)

Unknown FS's are spoilers.

Hidden music is spoilers.

Hidden modes are spoilers.

How to unlock stuff is arguable.

Full list of pokemons/AT's  are spoilers.

Event modes aren't spoilers.

The four characters that you had to unlock in SSB64, along with the Dojo characters that do not have the spoiler picture.

How to unlock that character should be considered a spoiler unless the the thread asks for it to  be revealed.  Same with the stages.  Events passed 10 should be spoilers, 11-20 should be more lenient.

CD's, trophies, stickers, as stated should be spoilers, but I'd also like to have added how to unlock them as well.

That does not make sense.  I would consider that a spoiler.  Snake's stage has a character, yet he would not be a spoiler (then again, he's a given).  Default stages and the non-spoiler stages on the dojo should not be spoilers.  All the other stages should be.

Ok, I'll give some more time for discussion, than I am making my decision. Now that I have played through some of SSE, I have an idea of what will and won't be spoilers.
