What if Sakurai had improved his FS a bit?

I mean, come on. It's horrid. The ship is EXTREMELY hard to get a KO with. All it can really do is rack up damage.

BUT, what if Sakurai, rather than giving Olimar the "Hocotate Ship", gave him his original ship from the original Pikmin, the Dolphin?

Just think about it, the Dolphin crash landed and 30 pieces spewed all over Earth (Yes, it IS EARTH).

So, what if Sakurai used the Dolphin, and when the ship crashed, it broke apart into 5-7 random pieces?

These pieces could be any of the 30, obviously, and they'd all have their own effect.

I.E., the Laser (God, I can't remember what that's called), could be like R.O.B.'S Laser, or even like the Cracker Launcher. And most everything else would be sort of like Samus' suit. Just throw it around :D

And, if Sakurai DIDN'T do that, why not have Louie in the Hocotate Ship? When the ship comes back down, he'd act as an Assist Trophy, identical to Olimar, except all he can do is throw Pikmin.

So yeah, how about that?

A cool idea, but really Olimar's FS has more range than you would expect.
It has killed me at around 80% and it is easy to get multiple kills with on a small stage.

Ridley

I usually just fly straight and  to the left with Rob and avoid damage entirely lol.
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

Macawmoses

He easily has one of the best FS's, imo, it can really rack damage up fast.

FruitFlow

Not a bad idea. But Olimar's FS has lots of advantages.
"Many people see technology as the problem behind the so-called digital divide. Others see it as the solution. Technology is neither. It must operate in conjunction with business, economic, political and social system."

Since you are "Olimar", you of all people should know his FS rocks.
I guess you just suck with yourself.

It's extremely easy to dodge. If they get the Pitfall effect, that's all. It can be escaped if you rotate the control stick fast enough. It's happened to me. All it's useful for is racking up %. If you're lucky, you'll get a kill.

You do know that once you are falling, you can move the ship a little, right? and since it shows the bubbles of the characters, it's easy to determine where to hit.
