TF2 keeps crashing (new and improved edition)

it keeps saying my paged pool memory is running out, but i went to the website and it didn't help...  it hasn't done this before and just started this morning...

It could be something else.

Search OS Paged Pool Memory to expand how much you can do on Google.

It's probably your graphics card.
What kind do you have?
And are your drivers up to date?

Not the exact same thing that happened to me though.

In Team Fortress 2, it actually SAID that my OS Paged Pool Memory wasn't high enough. So I googled it, and huzzah. There was my solution. I think this is what's happening to most people with TOB or any of it's games.

Here's how you open Registry Editor:

Start Menu > Run > regedit

Surf down to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

Double click on "PagedPoolSize". Hexadecimal is listed first. Change the "Value Data" to one of these below:
(Note: You only need to enter EITHER Hexadecimal or Decimal. They both are the same.)

Megabytes Hexadecimal Decimal
192Mb 0c000000 201326592
256Mb 10000000 268435456
384Mb 18000000 402653184

I went with the 384Mb option and it worked perfectly.

Once you are done, make sure you reboot your computer."

This sounds like it could be the paging file on your hard drive. What operating system are you on? I may be able to help.

To change the paging file size:
Start>Control Panel>System>Advanced>Preformance>Advanced>Virtual Memory.
Tell us how big your HDD is, and what it's currently set on.
Typically, on XP it should be 512MB+. Mine's at 1024.

That sounds right. Also, be sure to tell us your current amount of RAM so that we can give you a plausible amount to put in. I've got 4.5 GB RAM, and have no swap file on my HDD whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend that for most people, but meh.
