When I saw on the shelves, brand new Final fantasy 8, 9, chronicles, anthology, and origins for the PS1. The guy working told me that they had been reprinted. All except 7. Why is square constantly passing up the opportunity to make money by reprinting it?

Tupin

Because they wouldn't be able to make enough.

Also, never heard of a company reprinting game discs years after the console died.

Tuppy frightens me with his knowledge of legacy technology.

DistantWords

That is really weird!  Most game stores don't even carry PS1 games USED, which never made sense to me since the PS2 (and now PS3) plays them.  But to actually reprint the games...

I actually have all of the FF games released on the PS1 still.  And would NEVER get rid of them!

Anyway, I wonder if maybe the reason they didn't reprint FF7 is that they've finally decided to actually remake it?  Long shot, but how much would that ROCK???
Looking for any old friends from Nsider.  If you remember me, let me know!

Brand new AC:WW town created. PM me for FC info.

Thay might not have the rights for FF7 or what DistantWords said with the long shot.
