Fire Emblem topic with which to distract you.

OK, so I was pondering this about Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn recently. How is it, that everyone I talk to has a very fast Micaiah in her first tier? Mine never caps speed, but everyone else is like "o ya my micaya capd spd lol she rulz" WHY DOES MINE ALWAYS BLOW? D=

Also, if you level up Laura to saint (lol yeah right) then she can get really good. FYI.

I wasn't too sure 'bout that myself. My Micaiah dies when it comes to speed. No matter how much I try to make her better. Half the time, I have to keep her away from enemies with any form of long range attack. They always kill her. Then I have to make a freakin' wall with Nolan, Sothe, Edward, and Aran to keep away the other enemies.

But I did manage to make Laura a Saint. Just use a tactic I like to call "HEAL EVERY TINY FREAKIN' SCRATCH!" :D

I think that's the whole Dawn Brigade at the end of Part 1...

Still... Laura is harder to use than Rhys cause while Rhys has an Ellight book, she's pretty much defenseless. And like one hit from most enemies is enough to take her out... But she can be valuable.... Not really...

Edward is one of the best units in the game, it's a bit tough to get him up to Nolan's level, but it pays off more. Nolan's pretty good, I personally think Boyd is better, but I haven't actually used a Reaver yet. Leonardo is horrible. Nothing else can be said. Laura's later stats get really good. She's also faster than Rhys with a higher Magic cap. Rhys is just too darn slow I used Elincia, Micaiah, and Soren for healing anyway. Aran is pretty slow, but I'm going to try and use him this playthrough because I haven't used him and he's at least decent. Meg is fat and sucks so hard. You're right about Volug, good for the first few chapters, bad after that. Ilyana's... eh. Fast, but I don't like to rely on her. Micaiah gets decent if you really level her.

You forgot Nailah, Sothe, and Rafiel. Nailah is... lolyes. Sothe is good for a rogue, but he's such a lame character. Rafiel is bad. Reyson is the way to go.

I liked using Edward, but I usually ended up killing him on accident. <_< Boyd could be considered better than Nolan, particularly since the Dawn Brigade is only there for 10 chapters, so leveling up oppurtunity is a bit limited. Boyd has (I think) slightly more power, and might be around equal in speed. Leonardo just plain sucks (and so do Rolf and Astrid, later in the game), so I used Shinon more. My main qualm with Laura is her lack of attacks. She's fast, but she's too weak to make use of it. I used Micaiah to heal only if she was my only healer. Using Sacrifice was too risky because I didn't want to waste her health. Rhys has stronger attack, so I usually had Shinon attack, then if that didn't kill the enemy, have Rhys finish it off.  Nailah was... overpowered, I think. She was like Level 60 when you first had her, so most attacks didn't affect her, and she got a lot of One Hit Kills. Which is good, I guess. Sothe was my main powerhouse at the beginning, especially during the Laguz levels, where I equipped him with a Best Killer knife. But after Chapter 10, he kinda got worse. Rafiel, I have to agree with you. I used his Vigor galdr to get rid of some of the hardier bosses by giving others extra attacks, but yeah, Reyson was better.

I'd look up stats for Boyd and Nolan, but I'm too lazy. Shinon is easily the best archer in the game, he is practically a Marshall with a bow. I've yet to use Laura, so I'll have to agree with you. I mainly healed with Micaiah as a Light Priestess, using Rhys/Laura/Elincia when I needed to. You're right about Nailah. She's incredibly overpowered. When I first saw Evil Eye, I figured it would be abused to death, but in reality, it's impossible to use. It's accuracy is much too low. And yeah, Sothe destroys all laguz with the Beast Killer. Yeah, Reyson is so much better than Rafiel, Leanne is probably in between.

In this playthrough Im having right now(kinda been quitting on it) my micaiah was getting some good speed ups, and I have to agree with Laura, when I BEXP her she always gains magic, skill, and speed.

Oh and also, Meg can be good if you baby her, My one playthrough, when I leveled her, she dodged everything and criticaled a whole lot, the only character that I have to say is bad is Fiona, I beleive my recent playthrough she had 10 strenght.....at second tier.
