New line of Dell laptops

Sounds pretty powerful. Ugh, I've been stuck with a computer that's been with us for about 5 years or so. Even though we've got as much memory as we can put into this bad boy, it's still not as speedy as the modern ones.

Hey, my family is too cheap to buy any new computers at all... my dad just takes ones from work that no one uses anymore. Our newest one is from 2000 >_>

The only problem you guys have with Dell laptops is the fact that a few of them exploded because of the factory problem.

I can tell you right now, if you're going to buy pre-built, Dell is pretty much the best choice. Toshiba and IBM are up there too, but the rest are best avoided.

No, actually, not for me. I choose to avoid them because their laptops are overall poorly made, you need to upgrade several things just to get it to fuction at a decent speed, at least, that's how it was last time I got a Dell. Now, I prefer Toshiba for my laptops, even though I go by specific models, Toshiba is my first choice.

He enjoys his Mac precisely because he goes to an art design school. One of the few redeeming qualities about OS-X and Apple in general is that they're excellent for artsy things.

People seem to be whining about Dell's laptops; I haven't had any major problems with mine aside from a broken keyboard, which is my fault, and a random stop error here and there every couple of months.

Bullpoop, I have a Dell desktop that I've been gaming on Medium/High in-game gfx settings for 2+ years. I replaced nothing.

Comparing prices and specs, dell provide the best deal for what I want.

Since problems seem to be lemons, I think I'm going for one :P
