how safe is your wii?

Next to the TV, it has the stand and the transparent circle thing. The TV stand is against the radiator, and there is an alarm clock and a charging dock beteween the Wii and the little gap between the radiator and the wall.

I have a TV cabinet with my TV inside it, my FiOS set-top box thing on a shelf above the TV in the cabinet, and my Wii sitting horizontally on top of the TV cabinet. Considering the cabinet is extremely stable and is just a plain rectangular prism shape on the outside, the only danger my Wii is in is the possibility of the ceiling collapsing.

My Wii is under my TV in a cabnet where it is safe from the TV, only to overheat thanks to the fact that the stereo is right next to it...

My Wii has actually just been given a safety upgrade. It has switched places in the NEC with the Gamecube so it's lowwer to the floor should it fall. It's also now stored in a padded Travel Case that the system can play right out of too.

I have to admit - I thought this was going to be something about Wii's exploding under certain conditions, or something to that effect...

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure that it is in THE safest spot. It's on a entertainment unit - two mid-size cabinets with a shelf/hole in the center for the TV and a shelf over that. ( _=_ < kind of has that sort of shape) The Wii is sitting on one of those mid cabinets, next to the Game Cube. I have it standing upright on the little plastic thing it came with. I might have to re-think my set-up. you know what they say - Location, Location, Location...

well considering the fact that you still have a Gamecube to play CGN games then, i think that there won't be anything pulling on the wii, so that sounds safe to me.

My Wii is under my TV, as in, my TV is balancing on top of my Wii.

It's holding up okay.
