35 GB less than advertised?

Those double n_ggers! >:( The Book's box advertised it as 500 GB.

Well, got my external HD because my laptop somehow has half of it's space left on it :-/ There's not much on it. Some albums (in fact, I think it's well less than 3GB) some pictures (my /b/ folder and ~~porn~~ sekret dox can fit onto a 2GB flash drive, I have a LOT less, no way in hell that's taking up space), Gamemaker, AIM, Vista, some poop the computer came with (Can't tell which I need and which I don't), and Photoshop and Premiere Elements.

My X-box was advertised at 20GB ad I only had 13GB once the whole thing was wiped clean. :(

There's often a difference in actual capacity and formatted capacity. Besides, it's easier to say it's a 500GB drive rather than a 465GB drive.

I noticed that from my mom's external HD. But still, thats 35 Gigs of ROMs/porn/music/GM games I can store. D:

That might be important things, I bet.

But how could it need 7 gigs of important scripts? Mine had more than that at start, around 15 gigs when it was suppossed to have 20. It doesn't make sense.
