As for the eyesight, you get the most out of video gaming. In fact, there's a video game that focuses on improving eyesight. According to you logic, it would do the exact opposite. Obviously, you are wrong, seeing as the company would receive many lawsuits and go out of business. What company wants that?
I beg to differ. If you're playing games for over 2 hours straight, you can't tell me that your eyes aren't tingling. Why do you think most of those "lifeless nerds" have such thick glasses?
The main reason is actually that you're looking at something so close to your eyes for so long. Try handwriting a four-thousand word report without ever looking up from you paper. Chances are your eyes will feel like they are going to explode....Trust me. >.> And if I'm wrong, don't blame me, I fouond this out from my long-ass biology book last year.

Eh? I wasn't calling anyone here, one :| :| :|

But come one, you know who I'm talking about. Those pale people who just sit on their couch/lounge chair and play video/computer games all day long, without seeing the sunlight...

It makes me sick :|
Oh god, one of my friends is those. D:
Except they play WoW. >.>

I agree, at least play a game that you can stop playing at any time.

You are an idiot. I left for school within the 25 minutes I've quoted earlier in the day. Now, are you actually going to respond, or are you just going to stick with such immature, uneducated answers?

That's one study. There are also several studies that say the opposite, hence results are inconclusive. There is no real observed cost/benefit ratio between gamers' and nongamers' health and well-being.

Thompson isn't out to can all video games, just ones that aren't rated EC. If you want to whine about him, whine about how he uses quasi-legal tactics to achieve his aims.

Thread sucks, and now it's over.
