Today, I was supposed to watch Back to the Future 2, and I was excited to finally watch the movie that had been sitting here for 3 weeks.

10 minutes through the movie, the screen just completely freezes and won't work.

I tried it on another DVD player and my PS2 and it didn't work.

Is there ANYTHING I can do, to see if by some miracle it'll work?

Tupin

Open it up and blast it with a can of air.

Or take it to a shop to get it cleaned.

Tuppy frightens me with his knowledge of legacy technology.

Toothpaste or Peanut Butter.

It sounds amazingly stupid, but it has a chance of working.

It's a rental, so I don't wanna risk it getting worse.

And it's too late to take it to a shop now.

AGGH.

Kilroy

Well, that sucks, seeing as it's too late to go buy anything D:

I think toothpaste can help clean discs. We did it on my Guitar Hero 3 disc, it still works. :)
YEAH

If its a rental, take it back to the store and see if they have an extra copy or somethin X_X;;

It wouldn't have been much of a problem if it was a rental from the store, but since it's from Blockbuster Online, I had it sitting here for 3 weeks without watching it because I never got a chance to.

That means my family ended up paying for 3 weeks for a BROKEN DVD.

That, and the last time I went to my local Blockbuster, they said they only had Part 3 of the series. >_>

Use a banana peel. No, I am not kidding. You rub the part where the banana was on the disk, and then you get it wet to take of the banana stuff, and dry it with a cloth. Make sure to dry it by going outwards, and not in circles to avoid any more scratches. It really works.

Well, I went to Blockbuster where I told them that the disc didn't work.

They had the movie, but the DVD they were gonna give me was worse, and the cashier recommended I should just get a different movie.

So, I ended up getting Juno instead.

Something tells me I should just buy the trilogy and get it over with. >_>
