anyone have any info, is it going to be called mario party 9? is it on the wii?
or just let me know what you want to see in the next mario party game.

like i want more characters (like rosalina), more gameboards (could make one using that spaceship from galaxy), new better minigames in the 100's.

let me know what u think

Macawmoses

I don't have info, myself.

As for things I'd want, I DO NOT want Rosalina involved, just a simple cast, with an odd twist or two.....like bringing Mouser in, or something to that effect. I'd also like to see the single player mode develop a little more, and the games to be a tad crazier, frantic if you will.

Then again, I'm not a huge MP fan....

For one, the games should be much more original.

You've got the Wii's capabilities now, so there's no excuse for unoriginal games any more.

Like Mack said, the games should be crazier and the single player mode should be developed more.

PLEASE ADD DK BACK INTO THE CAST.
Who is the idiot that keeps him out of the game as a playable character?

Take out Blooper (Seriously, a squid out of water?) and add some better character choices.

Hammer Bro and Dry Bones are enough for generic enemies, and I don't mind them in, so please add in REAL characters.

That's what I can think of for now.
I like Mario Party, especially when I'm playing with my friends, but I need more originality from them.

I'd love to see reps such as Paper Mario, Mouser, etc....ones that actually add a UNIQUE flair, not the same old generic thing. I also think a guest needs added, like ROB in MKDS.

Here is one...

Make it "ONLINE"  :robotangry:
I was entirely Pissed Off unlike anything else when Mario Party 8 wasn't "online", I mean WTH!

For those (like me) who have nobody to have a "party" with...you can always have a party with your friends (or strangers) Online.

*sighs*

All mario party games I ever owned, I always played them by myself and any simple minded person Would know that you can't play Mario Party by yourself for very long...cause it gets boring.................. quickly. :|

Mario Party wouldn't work well Online.

I can just imagine someone leaving their room to do something else to wait for their turn to come and not coming back in like 20 minutes.

20 turns is just too long to play with other people Online.
10-15 turns are too little to really have any fun.

There's also the "disconnecters". Could you imagine playing one round for 20-30 minutes and you're about to win and everyone disconnects?

I'd be mad off.

Like totally duh... they can be replaced by cpu's... the game would let you know that "Set player has DC'ed do you wish to continue?" It would ask everybody that question. Surly they can work something out.

And about the "TURN", if it's your turn you have a time limit.
You have a total of 15-25 seconds (for example) to use an item or hit the dice or you LOSE a turn or you the computer will automatically hit it cause time ran out. :P

This way nobody can just wait forever ya know?

*and of course, everybody can vote on how many turns they would want.

It's an Opinion if a set amount of turns is too much or too little. What ever it would/could be it really can be worked out.

Ehh that would just seem annoying to me.

If I wanted to play with CPU's, I would just play Multiplayer mode.

Admit it though, it Could work!

Maybe it could, but I'm not sold on the idea yet.

Level_9_Chao

I've only played 1, 4, and 7, but if they haven't done so already I'd like to see a retro edition, where each board would be a throwback to each character's NES debut. Sprites as map effects would also be cool (like the Mario level in Smash 64).
