Much like Ocarina of Time and Zach and Wiki, there is a licensed song in LBP that has phrases from the Qur'an in it that went unnoticed, and it must be removed, delaying the game.

http://news.spong.com/article/16428/Confirmed_LittleBigPlanet_Delayed_for_Quran_Reference?cb=71

The phrases in question are:
"In the 18th second: "كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death')."

"2- Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: "كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish')."

I don't know what to say, but it's not like it was a song made for the game, it's a song called Tapha Niang.

Ugh...
1. How did this get by?
2. Oh sure, since it's the Quaran it has to be taken out...if it were from the Bible it'd be left in right?  ????
3. God darnit I just want the game already!!!!! I don't care if there are two little lines in there!

1. No one listened to all the audio in the game up until a week before the game was supposed to be released, apparently.

2. Of course, but they just don't want to offend anyone.

3. Me too, but I'm not in possession of a PS3 at the moment and won't be until my brother comes home from college.

Well, better they remove it then have someone who understands Arabic or whatever complain about it.

And it seems like a cliché that every good looking game ends up with a flaw that must be removed.

Amazing that the only ones that whine about their religious verses being in games are Muslims.

Well, since games are largely made by non-Muslims/people who can't understand Arabic but think the music sounds pretty, this happens on occasion.
