Yesterday I was worried about writing a 500 word essay about "The Power of Youth" in 30 minutes but I finished it anyway. Also, I recieved a Call of Duty 5 PC beta code and I'm waiting for the client to finish downloading and today I got my first snow day of the year. :O This is the earliest I've ever had one...
So have any good or remotely good things happen to you lately?

Mostly just nuisances, like showing up to where my English 110 class SHOULD be...only to find an empty classroom, and no messages or announcements from the teacher.

Today there was a Calculus BC test (end of the day, so it looms over you), and I got all but one small thing right. For a class like Calc BC, that's pretty darn solid. I mean, I beat the kids that do nothing but school and take 6 AP classes and complain when they get Bs.

So yeah, it was ok I guess.

My English AP class is a double-period (40-minute periods, for a total of an hour and 20 minutes).

Today's class went like this:

1. Our teacher is in an extremely, er, exciteable mood and tells about his hilarious college escapades, including evading a check in Sizzler by performing the goodbye song from Sound of Music

2. We watched some of the Importance of Being Earnest movie

3. The bell rang and he told us he had to go to a meeting with the other English teachers, so he told us "leave and don't come back for the second half" so we did.

In short, most of us didn't have lunch today, and he gave us a free period.  Whoo.

I'll be 1st chair clarinet in the freshman band once we actually have a chair test. The entire freshman band sucks except me and one or two other people. >_>

I died a little inside because I wrote a note to the guy I like... I'm still choking on my pride here! Can't swallow it! Then in Culinary Arts 2 we made three delicious pasta dishes this week. A couple of days ago, my mom told me I have a choice between a 360, PS3, and Wii for Christmas...

But darn it, girl issues ruin everything and now I feel like someone drugged me or something!
