This board gets a lot of Sonic talk, which is good, and when the SIT asked for this board, we pretty much knew that'd be the case. However, there is room for other discussion, so, this is my form of that!

What is your favorite, non-blue blur series, Sega Franchise?

Mine is a tie between NiGHTS and Samba de Amigo, both with only two installments, and amazing play in general. I also love the feeling of each of them, and the Wii versions didn't let me down, either.

So, what is your other favorite Sega series?

Nayrman

Stretchy arms and platforming? Screams werehog to me!
Actually, they should've made another RISTAR instead X_X;;
Oh, NiGHTS and Crazi Taxi... I love that game

Sk8teland85

I would say NiGHTS for me (obviously :P ) as well as Panzer Dragoon

Shujinco2

It would have to be the Jet Set Radio games.

And Crazy Taxi was good too.

And Comix Zone.

And Landstalker.

Tupin

Crazy Taxi, Landstalker, Ristar, NiGHTS, and Outrun.

Maybe Alex Kidd.

Sonic's essentially the only Sega series I play; not that it's the only one I play, it's just the only one I play very often, as well as the only one I own.

Anyway, I think 2nd for me would be Super Monkey Ball, and 3rd is Crazy Taxi.  Never played NiGHTS, as I didn't have a Genesis (or whatever he originated on) and I heard the Wii game isn't very good.

NiGHTS was on Saturn, not genesis.
Eh, the sequel is one of those games that you'll enjoy if you played hte first one while if you didnt play it you'll be kind of lost.

I'm pretty sure Streets of Rage was made by SEGA, right?

Well I would say that and Crazy Taxi.

Both bring back great memories. ;D

Kidd never did much for me, at all.

Well, his one game on the Genesis is awful. The "rock-paper-scissors" mechanic is not present in the other games. The ones on the Master System are way better, and even the worst one, High-Tech World is okay.

Sega even reversed the controls in the built-in versions of it to be more like Mario.

The other SMB: Super Monkey Ball.

Qsmash

Super monkey ball: fun multiplayer games

Streets of Rage: fun beat'em up

Ristar: fun platformer
