on IGN's "Nintendo Minute", a company spokesperson is asked what the Wii's greatest success and failures are.
Of course the success is "Oh look it's unique and lots of new people are playing it" and that typical nonsense Nintendo loves to spew every chance they get. This isn't the news part though. Once she got to the "failure" part, she says that they didn't make enough consoles to sell. THAT's IT!? That's your biggest failure?! Talk to any gamer out there and every single one of them will say something other than not enough on the market. ALso, when you're the top selling system, you can't complain about not having enough in stores...

So you're expecting Nintendo to openly admit that their games and everything else that they've done with the Wii has been a failure?

That doesn't make much sense at all...
They're a business. A business is not going to admit all their flaws when they can still sell consoles.

I'm not saying they should go and list stuff, but at least admit a few things could've been done better, not "we're dissappointed we didn't make more money by having more systems" X_X;;

Oh right, the Wii was so popular in the release and I couldn't get one until April, I think that can be considered as a biggest failure.

Online and lack of first party games is it's biggest failure.
