In the Mario series, or it seems that way..... Look at every game, 99% of the people you meet aren't people. I mean, what's up with that? It seems the only people are the main heroes and Princesses. E-Gadd looks weird, but I'm pretty sure he's human, but he may be the only one of the non-heroes/princesses that is human. Oh yes, Wario & Waluigi are human too, but they're barely Mario characters (well Waluigi is, but he's a filler made for Wario). From Paper Mario, the Merlow family might be human, but we can't see their face (either that, or they have pitch black faces), so it's hard to tell. So talk about this human extinction topic thingy.

I've never really thought about that before...

Aren't the Toads technically human-like, that mushroom head aside?

human-like doesn't matter, they're still not human.

If Wario counts, then I would assume that the people that live with him count too.
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

He only counts because he's in Mario games, mostly just as a filler. Wario has his own series now and is barely a Mario character.

Believe it or not, what Star said. Mario and Luigi didn't originally hail from the Mushroom Kingdom, they simply decided to live there. They're originally from New York City, if you've ever played the original Mario Bros. (not Super Mario Bros., Mario Bros.)

Yes but he originated there and still lives in the same universe presumably.

If I remember, both of them are from Italy.
