Well, bananas are high in all sorts of thing, especially K+. So it does make sense. OH GOD WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF IT

I have bananas on my microwave. They're not ripe yet.

This is a thread I can stand behind, as all nighters are quite interesting for me. For those of you that don't know, I have a very, very erratic sleeping schedule. Last night I slept like a baby at 7:30 (bricks in the windows solved any ambient light issues), although staying up until two is no problem, given I have a reason. With that said, reasons for me vary. If I'm recording, I'll continue until the local cafe opens up (presumably seven, although by the time I get there, a flood of Germans have already arrived). If I've just come home from a show, I can't find the tranquility to go to sleep. The same will occur if someone calls me at any point during the night and, by some correct alignment of the stars, I answer the phone. In this case, however, the caller will not get a wink of sleep, either. It only takes a brief description of some morbid family reunion of mine to keep somebody shaking with anticipatory adrenaline for the remainder of the day.

Staying awake all night is very bad for me, though. I understand many folks can do it without a problem and maybe even wedge it into their weekly schedules, but it's never been my cup of tea. It's very often that I'll hear voices or knocking on a door if I stay awake long enough; not because I'm crazy (I'm told I have the mental stability of a torture victim (you can take that any way you like)), but because about four years ago I went for eight days without sleep. If you ever want to have panic attacks so bad people think you're on PCP, sleep deprivation coupled with morphine withdrawal is the way to go.

As far as methods for staying awake go, caffeine pills are the only plausible proof of a just and loving God there is. I just pop 400mg of the little devils and drink tea sporadically. If anybody wants to try this, though, I recommend expected heavy nausea. Four-hundred isn't so bad, but after you've gone through two pots of loose leaf Earl Grey, you'll feel like you're digesting lithium. In fact, you should be expecting nausea in all situations of sleep deprivation. That's why I always keep a gram of hash in my medicine cabinet.

I've dabbled briefly in shock therapy, which does work, albeit for only an hour. Prepare to use it again and again throughout the night if your No-Doze supply has run dry.

I'll only pull an all-nighter if I'm partying, when I have an interesting RP going, if I'm about to go to an amusement park (too excited to sleep), or if I just can't sleep.

I pulled a complete all-nighter ONCE.  Some incomplete staying up until 4am doing AP World History homework.

The Seventh

There was one time where I steyed up ALL night, without a second of sleep.

But, usually I can't function without a few hours of sleep.
