So Muse's next album is to be released Sept 14/15. So far they have released Uprising and United States of Eurasia as well as 30 sec previews for each of the songs off the album here.
I love Uprising and USoE, and even the 30 second previews sound awesome. The only song i'm a bit weary about is Guiding Light, but probably it will be just as find when hearing the whole thing within the album.

I listened to it a couple times o me it did seem like kinda more leaning towards the mainstream, but still I thought it was awesome. Maybe not as good as their other albums, but still good. My friend who's also a Muse fan who I was talking to basically has kind of a similar kind of view on it.
I didn't think Exogenesis sounded generic at all though, that seemed to me the piece closer to the style of some of their stuff from like Absolution or Black Holes & Revelations.
