Recommend-a-Wii/DS-game-to-me

Well, Christmas is getting closer, and I need to think about a good game for either the Wii or DS. Can you suggest what's new in there for me?

I read that NSMB Wii was "satisfying" from someone on Kotaku.  Animal Crossing got boring, so I would not recommend getting that if you haven't already.  WarioWare Smooth Moves is fun for small parties.  Mario Kart Wii seems like it would be more suiting though, though I haven't picked it up in a few months.

WarioWare D.I.Y. is also coming out around the corner.  If you're on the piratey side, I would recommend an M3DS Real or some other flash card (check GBAtemp for the details for which one would suit you better.  I think that the original R4DS isn't supported anymore, but it may be one of the better ones for homebrew.)  Maybe an IOU for the North American release of HeartGold/SoulSilver?

NSMBWii is definitely enjoyable. I also highly recommend getting a couple of points cards...phenomenal titles have been released lately.
