You know, for posts about our lives that (we think) we have.

Sync agreed, and Custom did too a few posts down.  And no, this will obviously not take activity away from IRC.

So, post if you think we should have one, at least as a trial board!

Eh.
It wouldn't hurt to try it, though allowing more "dear diary" threads would be the better choice.
YEAH

Lotos

Wait, Jato, you barely post here.  Your opinion does not matter.

We have a board like that.

It's called Power On.

No, we don't need another board that will be active for a day and a half then die, it will make the forum seems slightly more dead than it already is.

If you wanna post about the life you think you have, do it on Power On.

You guys are dumb, Mack included. He doesn't know his own forum rules.

4.) Myspace-esque threads: We don't care that you failed your last algebra test, or that your significant other broke up with you, or that you have to visit one of the relatives which you hate. Short of someone dying who is incredibly special to you, or your coming down with a terminal illness, these threads don't belong here. If you really want to whine, we have a wonderful IRC chat room for a reason.
6.) 'Social help' threads: We don't care if you think a girl/guy likes you and you want to know how to approach him/her, or how you stick it in her/his pooper. Go to GovTeen or a teenage health-related site for help in these areas. It's also more fun for us because we get to laugh at all of the idiotic responses that your thread will get there.
7.) 'Homework help' threads: We don't care that you procrastinated until the last minute on your science fair project and you want a sudden burst of inspiration, or that you don't get algebra. There are homework help sites, parents, teachers, and Wikipedia for a reason.

Good job, guys.

Um, no. Those types of threads are useless. But there are plenty of personal type threads that can still be made. You didn't specify that you wanted Social Help threads (seriously, govteen). I assumed you were after something along the lines of

"My car broke down. What do."
