God of War 3 Audio Lag

So, I just got God of War 3. Awesome right?
Just got a $25 HDMI cable for the PS3 specifically for this game. Also awesome right? I mean the game looks AMAZING in 1080p (can't get 1080i w/o component cables)

But the audio is lagging about a full second from what happens on screen. Anyone know how to fix this? It only seems to happen in God of War 3, as I think it's fine in everything else.

Not really sure what to do since I've only seen someone deal with a similar problem from this once, but I advise looking at the settings of everything. If It's not your HDMI Cable I'd also try seeing If your regular cable has audio lag to get an idea of what's truly intercourse ing things up then go from there.

We experienced something like this at work with it...but it seems to have corrected itself.
