^just one of several sources, and I'm surprised I'm only just finding out about it. It's about two weeks old. Judge William Adams was recorded beating his daughter (with cerebral palsy)  for pirating a game on her computer, very viciously and threatening to "beat her into submission".

The video was taken in 2004 and she's only just now releasing it. There is a 5-year statute of limitations that will prevent him from being prosecuted for it, and his position of Judge will remain untouched. He has another younger daughter that he may be gaining custody over.

The beating video, uploaded to youtube by the daughter herself warning: GRAPHIC CONTENT:

Actually saw this on Dr. Phil today. I always have CBS on in the afternoons for background noise and never pay attention to what the intercourse  is showing but today it caught my attention.

I honestly don't see how he can't be prosecuted for it when the evidence is as clear as can be. Statute of Limitations or not, that's complete bullpoop how he just gets away with it.
I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

There is a lot of poop you can get away with if enough time has passed, no matter what evidence exists, unfortunately.

I was kind of concerned at the fact that the wife was joining in, but on Dr. Phil she did say that she was kind of brainwashed because of how tyrannical Adams was; his wife didn't dare to oppose him. But they're divorced now.

Kind of sucks for the girl though, that she seriously could not do anything about it, since her father WAS the law. It's a shame she had to resort to posting it in YouTube, though I only wonder what would have happened had she posted it online 7 years ago when the video was made.

There is a difference between beating and discipline.

This is the former

I'm actually interested in the other crimes that are encompassed under this five year limitation; it's also disgusting that such a limitation exists, especially in this situation.

In the interview, the girl said that since the belt was looped back, it did this sort of pulling thing on the skin after contact, so it amplified the pain. I don't doubt that, really. But that just shows how badly the discipline/abuse line was crossed.
