My friend said that, playing as peach, you can pick up a turnip, throw it straight up in the air, use UP+B, catch it, and use UP+B again.

Is this true?

nah....sounds like it would give her a way too big advantage...i mean, she already has good jumping skillz...

Supposedly, when you grab the turnip in the air, you should be able to do another one.

You can't up-b twice, though you can throw it in the air, jump and press Z, and then Up-B. Not that it is as cool as two up-Bs would be.
