Is it possible to use 3:2 aspect ratio with Wii?

My TV capture device supports resolutions up to 720x480, which is 3:2. I saw 4:3 and 16:9 on the menu for the Wii. I just realized that it doesn't match up >_>

With Wii set to 16:9


With Wii set to 4:3 and no image modification


With Wii set to 4:3, I merely cropped it to 640x480 (as can be seen, some parts have been cropped off for some reason although 4:3 is supposed to output exactly 640x480)


With Wii set to 4:3, I had to resize it by lowering the width and not the height



Oh by the way, I rescaled each picture to 50% in both width and height after what I said here, merely to make the picture not so big.

Oh. Well, I have sliders for Brightness, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation.
Max for each is 255. Brightness is currently 200, Contrast 110, Hue 137, Saturation 105.

Look at the red box around the character/kart selection, is it supposed to have tiny black lines chopping it up?
