Smash Teams Competing

I was wondering if anybody uses their top characters in a team to compete against friends' teams because it would be cool for the users on this forum to start something like that on Wifi.  That'd be fun.  Maybe like a tournament or something.  I know it might sound stupid but me and my friends combined Naruto refrences to our character rankings like call a character a gennin, chunin, or jounin.  Yes, we did tournaments called Chunin exams, but even as sad as it sounds it was fun.  Discuss.  Yes, I'm expecting critisism from the non-Naruto fans. 

I have a team already that I'ved used in Melee.

Yeah, but do I'm not talking about teaming with actual people.  I'm talking about controlling your whole team yourself and competing against your friend's team.   Well, since you have a team thread I promise not to interfere.
