Has anyone read that book? It's a whole series. I plan on reading the original four, and if I like it enough I'll read the one about the Shadow. I read the first one and I love it. It's one of the best sci-fi novels ever.

Yeah, I read it once. 3/4 of it, anyways...too depressing. Hated it for that.

It's about a kid who gets sent off to Battle School to train to destroy an alien race. I'm reading the second one now, it's about when he's older.

I've read it. The ending to the first book was really corny, though.  :-\
