O.o i have 7 of them running, and one of them is using a poop load of ram(compared to the other ones)

maybe reboot?

So wait, can you exit some of the svchost.exe's as long as you leave at least one?

Or will exiting any make my computer empty its bowels?

Um... I think of the seven running processes of svchost.exe, two or three of them will cause BSoD upon termination. Terminating one randomly has a chance either way of getting or not getting BSoD.

I've never got a BSoD from closing them, I just get a Warning: Shutting down in __ seconds.

You need them. You might be able to randomly shut one of them down, but it might make you restart.
