TQ TRIVIA #100...is in 3 days. INFO Thread! (PLAN ON COMING? READ!!)

So, some of you may be stoked about this, and some of you may have no idea what the hell is going on. Allow me to elaborate.

Since 2005, I've been hosting trivia games, and since 2006, we've had this thing going called Team Quiz ("TQ") and it's been hosting games since then. They've been held every Saturday night for the last 2 or so years now, and this Saturday will be the 100th edition of our weekly game. This is a big deal. I could go on, but I won't bore anyone ;). 

So, most of you already knew that. That's for those who didn't. Also, the font has been enlarged for those visually impaired folks. Yes, you, SH.


So, since last week, we're going to be coming to you, fictitiously of course, from a new location each week, which we've dubbed to be the moon this week. Yeah, the moon. It was Stonehenge last week.

So, what's changing this week?

1. TRIVIA BEGINS AT 8:15 PM EST IN LIVE CHAT AND RUNS TO (about) 11:00 PM EST! This is the biggest change considering we've all become so accustomed to our familiar 9:05 start time.

2. I will NOT have a DJ slot this week. So the 8:00 - 9:00 PM EST slot is open for anyone who elects to use it.

3. Here's your shocker, men. There will be a 20-question integration of KG's Intense Trivia at some point in the game. KG's Intense Trivia is the fastest playable trivia game I've ever seen, and I hope you'll agree. This will only last a few minutes at most, but it's going to happen. The theme of the KIT session? Video games, men. Nintendo ones at that. So you beggars who've been wanting the VG trivia will finally get it here.

4. If he should be present, GM will perform his live halftime performance during the second intermission.

5. In celebration of the passing of the original Trivia HQ (which, by the way, lives on in IRC in the embodiment of #PYTriviaHQ), some questions WILL be "inside joke" questions concerning the old HQ. Not many, no more than 5 of the 70+ questions will be of this nature. Don't sweat it, those of you who weren't a part of it. You'll still do fine.

More WILL BE ADDED! Check back tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday for more updates.

I expect to see you there, for at least part of it. Who's coming, who isn't? Let me know!
