I have a dog. She's a girl. Shitzu. We've had her for 4 years. She won't die. I hate her. :)

I have phobias of dogs (loud and large dogs) so I try to keep my distance from dogs (since many fall in one of the two categories).

I'm sure there are some breeds of dogs I wouldn't mind, but most unnerve me.

Dogs are cool. xD Our dog is an Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix, named Lucky (shut up I was young). He's like.. uhh.. 7.. or so.. he rules. xD

Well, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one here afraid of dogs, except that I'm afraid of all breeds.

Cats are completely different, I absolutely love cats.

The only dog in the house is my sisters Miniature Poodle... I would prefer a bigger dog though, but I don't really care, it's too much poop to worry about anyway.

I forgot to mention that mine looks like a Bichon on steroids. If you've seen a Bichon before they're usually tiny. Mine is about 2 or 3 times the size of a normal one. He's huge XD (For his breed)

Well initially I know I wasn't afraid of those two types of dogs, I've just had personal experiences with them that lead to a minor phobia of them.

When I was in elementary school, a small, yippy dog (being loud) would chase after me barking every day for years. It always freaked me out, and because of that dogs that are loud or bark a lot unnerve me.

And I've always been wary of large dogs after having them jump up at me/try to bite me.

I do love cats though. ^_^
