My mom (a teacher at some Zoo's kindergarten private school) seriously makes only like $1,000 USD every month (about 12k/year) not counting taxes. My father never lived with us. My grandma, who lives with us, is retired as of this passed Saturday, but probably still will make more than my mom does (she used to be a nurse).

I don't think my mother would be able at all to afford her own house, so we live at my grandma's house (and my mom doesn't pay any of the monthly house/food/water/electricity bills :-\ ).

Not really...my mom works as a Radiology Tech. at a hospital, and my dad doesn't live with us, so it's just her money...we'd be screwed without my dad paying child support monthly. ;_;

in comparison to everyone else where I live, yes.  but nobody finds out, because I don't tell them.  My family basically runs the community here, and we basically built it.  If anyone finds out and they don't know me, they'll assume I'm some rich snob, but I'm not.  consequently, nobody finds out.

so, we're rich, but not super-rich.

I'm in between the last two.
We've hit a bit of a financial roadblock at my house.
My father usually gets his bonus (ind hand) at this time of year, which is handy for Christmas shopping, and taxes.
Now, his company is putting the money into his IRA, so we can't touch it.

Otherwise, I live in a modest home. Both my parents work, but my mom is considering looking for a new job closer to home.
My dad works for a major US seed company, which is actually headquartered in my small town.

Dad gets around $1000 a week from UPS I dont know about mom, not much though. Were probably Upper-Middle class.

We make a LITTLE more than Middle Class, but not that much.


I'm totally happy with our life now, and I have something to brag about when the rich asses make fun of me.


They don't have a boat, but a poor little dork does? Yep.

Then again, there are only about 10 asses in my grade, which I recently found out. Ever since I started "rebelling" against my Dad forcing me to wear gay clothes, I've been finding out that the people that I thought were ninnyes are really nice.
