Jas gets to her room, kicks the door shut with the back of her foot, and flops down on the bed.

Venice left the hotel and went into the dark streets. He found a grocer and crept in. He grabbed some food and went out. He went back to the hotel and left the food at Jas's door, to be found in the morning. Finally, he made his way to his own room and went to sleep.

Even though it's late, and she's done a lot in the past few days, Jas can't sleep. Something seems to be up, but she can't figure out what it is.

((First Kai, now Venice! Everyone's seems to be treating Jas well :P Where's mah stolen food? D:))

The only noise left in the room was Lanbar's rthymic breathing. Solon cupped his face into his hands and sighed. If we are caught, what could that mean in terms of war? Solon thought. This could be too dangerous for the others... What am I getting everyone into? But then Solon remembered the reason they wanted the jewel back for Jas... It holds powers! Just think of what Scalus, the minipulative war forces that they are, could do with power like that! If it has to start, at least let it start without a powerful gem in their hands.

Solon sighed again and laid back onto the edge of the bed. He was trying to think up some different solutions to their problems, some other ways to go to head with this... But Lanbar's snores slowly brought Solon into a deep sleep...

"I' i' eh ohy weh..." came a muffled voice in Solon's head. Solon opened his eyes to blackness. Where am I? he tried to say, but it only came out as an echoed thought. Gah! I can't talk! the thought bounced through the room. Then, Solon heard movement on the other side of the blackness. Who's there?

"Ooo muh sacrifieh one oher..." the muffled sound came again. What are you talking about!? Who's talking? Solon cried from his thoughts. Then, he wished he had never asked. A dead, rotting body rolled out from the darkness. Its mouth was wide open, and Solon realized it had no tongue. Then, the zombie got up and repeated what it said, speaking the best it could without a tongue.

"Goh to Scaluh an geh gem back. Ohly weh hoo shop bloo'y wah. Buh one will die..." it hissed. WHO? shouted Solon, realizing now why he could not speak... The dead was leaving him without a voice, like it had to expierence. But, the blackness began to fade and Solon opened his eyes to realize he was back in the hotel room, sun soaking through the hole in the roof.

"J...Just a dream..." Solon whispered, he was sweating and felt like he had just run the length of Scalander. One will die?

((Dun hate. Besides, I think I know what's goin' on. :P))

Jas sits up rubbing her head. She fell asleep hours ago, but it seems like she only got a few minutes of sleep. While smoothing her hair down, Jas wonders where this 'adventure' of hers will lead.

Kai woke up with a hangover and ran to the bathroom.

Nimbus was awake long before the others. Staring at the sky as usual.


After he was done, he got up from the window and gathered his stuff together.

Venice woke up and did nothing of particular importance.

Jas opens her door to go out into the hall, but stop when she sees the food. "How the hell...?"

Venice stepped out of his room and went to the lobby.

Kai walked out of the bathroom after an hour of puking, he felt better and walked into the hall.

Nimbus went into the hall.

Kai hid behind a wall and waited for Nimbus to come by so he could jump out and scare him, he was looking for laugh.

Nimbus walked right up to the spot where Kai was.
