Ryuki lead Akutai to the trasport center. There were several guards there, as there always were at each island's individual transport station.

"G' day. Heading somewhere?" the guard asked in a bored tone.

"Yes. We're heading to Michi." Ryuki replied in his usual happy, childish tone.

"Right then. Just step onto the portal." the guard told them, motioning to a glowing yellow circle on the floor.

"Are you ready to go, Akutai?" Ryuki asked.

After a brisk nap, Haseo got up, duted himself off, and went to the transport center to get to Michi. Once there, he noticed the guy who had helped him earlier, but ignored him.

"Yeah, I'm ready..." Akutai replied a bit nervously. This was it. Akutai's first time leaving the island ever since the meteor shower. He began to wonder what kind of places had survived through the meteor shower...

Ryuki nodded. He glanced back and noticed the guy Akutai had helped earlier.

"I wonder where he's going..." he quickly shook the thought, though. He stepped onto the warp point with Akutai. A brilliant golden light surrounded them. It engulfed them. They were gone. In another flash, the were standing on Michi.

Haseo stepped onto the transfer point too. Once in Michi, he decided to find an inn and rest before heading on.

Solon found the transporter, and stepped on it. He wasn't sure where to go, but just let the transporter follow the guy who had went in right before him. He might as well go to a place that he knew was getting visitors...

Solon landed on the ground of Michi. "Huh, I wonder if he's here..."

"Well we're here... There's a town up ahead, from what I've heard. The rest of the island is all hickory forest." Akutai explained to Ryuki. "Right... well, let's go."

[THEBIRD]

The entire island looked like one long path. It made Solon dizzy, looking at the thin path ahead of him, but he continued trekking through. He would have to ask any person he could find about the guy... Up ahead he saw two men walking towards the town.

"Hey you," called out Solon, walking up to them. "Who are you?" Solon asked, narrowing his eyes. Kenshin may have owned the island, but he could never be to careful.

"Good idea. We're going to need supplies before we head to the next island." Ryuki answered and started walking off towards the town. Ryuki then heard someone calling out to them.

"Depends! Who are you?" he answered. He was always cautious of strangers during traveling.

[X_Hero]

Akutai turned to see who it was. He almost froze. it was an assassin from Norobu. Akutai could recognize the the familiar mark on the right shoulder.

"Akutai, who is this guy?" Ryuki turned and whispered.

[X_Hero]

"... He's an assassin from the Norobu group. They're brutal in the ways of killing... What would a Norobu assassin be doing here?" Akutai said, still a bit frightened.

[Nils_13]

"Oh yeah. The guys who have mastered the silent killing arts." Ryuki replied, still keeping his voice low enough to where only Akutai could hear him. At the same time, he was reaching into his bag and pulling out his book.

Solon hadn't realized that people might be afraid of him. He was new, and wasn't quite used to it. But he kept a straight face, a smile almost appearing, making him look evil.

"Well, you know who I am now. Who are you," repeated Solon, eyeing them with new found ease. He didn't have to worry about these two, they were no threat. If he needed to dispose of them, he was sure he could do it easily.

Haseo looked out the inn's window and saw a Norobu assassin. In case of danger, he took his staff and held it tight.
