I don't give it a poop which:  If it runs what I need and does so well, I'll use it.

PC stands for Personal Computer.  Why do people use it to represent Windows?

From Wikipedia, a PC is
"a computer whose original sales price, size, and capabilities make it useful for individuals."

What is Mac trying to say with their PC Vs. Mac?  Their computers aren't useful?

yes.derek

I prefer PCs, just because I've used them all my life.

Or, you know, since I was 5-ish.

Linux is an operating system for a PC.  Macs are PCs.

PC, only because 90% of the computer population owns one.

You aren't going to sell a lot of computers if only ONE COMPANY can make them.

I've been a great fan of Mac's for a long, long time. So, Mac's get my vote. :)

I'll be using Macs for the rest of my life.

A lot of PC's are built very badly, so Mac wins in terms of hardware; however, Windows is the standard OS so more software supports it, so it wins in terms of software.

That's the worst argument against Macs ever.

I've never found a task that I can't find a good piece of software for.

I use Windows because I'm more accustomed to it and the programs that run on it and I have yet to have any significant problems. If I ever want to use some other OS, I can use my virtual machine with Ubuntu.
Cost is a HUGE factor for me and I think most Apple hardware is more expensive than the various brands of PC hardware. (I'm not sure though >_>)

That's you. My electronic homework alone is Windows exclusive, so all of the Mac owners at school have to either come early or stay late to do the assignments. There's no denying the bias for Windows when it comes to software development.
