Wow, that is so interesting. Totally worth making a thread about.

....and the AIDs part.

/ignorance

Condoms lower the possibility of an exchange of genital fluids, thus also lowering the chances of contracting AIDS or other STDs. It's not a perfect shield, but it's better than nothing.

drugs are just as bad

When it comes to causing drop-outs, failures, etc. in school, it's pretty safe to say that drugs are considerably worse.

Last year in my health class we learned that condoms only prevent like 2 out of the bajiliion stds....

There aren't as many pure "STDs" as you seem to think there are.

And "prevent" isn't a good word here, because they're not always successful.

Like it matters. What does matter however is that codoms are practilly useless, they are only good against getting a girl pregnant mostly.

Haha.

So, do you now have enough posts related to sex at your school?
Our school actually has more drug problems, surprisingly.

Most of our sex problems are 7th grade slut-whore girls and wimpy 7th grade boys that don't know how to say "no".
when i was in 7th grade not a person had sex before... that lasted for a few years.

you must live in a terrible neighborhood.

Got a source on that info, sir? Common medical information says otherwise.

You're most likely just pulling this out of your ass, or maybe you just don't understand what a condom actually is. Unless it breaks or is applied incorrectly, it prevents fluids from touching.

QuoteCondoms are widely recommended for the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). They have been shown to be effective in reducing infection rates in both men and women. While not perfect, the condom is effective at reducing the transmission of HIV, genital herpes, genital warts, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and other diseases.[33]

According to a 2000 report by the National Institutes of Health, correct and consistent use of latex condoms reduces the risk of HIV/AIDS transmission by approximately 85% relative to risk when unprotected. The same review also found condom use significantly reduces the risk of gonorrhea for men.[34]

A 2006 study reports that proper condom use decreases the risk of transmission for human papilloma virus by approximately 70%.[35] Another study in the same year found consistent condom use was effective at reducing transmission of herpes simplex virus-2 also known as genital herpes, in both men and women.[36]

Although a condom is effective in limiting exposure, some disease transmission may occur even with a condom. Infectious areas of the genitals, especially when symptoms are present, may not be covered by a condom, and as a result, some diseases can be transmitted by direct contact.[37] The primary effectiveness issue with using condoms to prevent STDs, however, is inconsistent use.

I really dont see your point....

My point is that you're stupid for saying condoms are "practically useless," because it's been proven otherwise. Did you not even read the statistics and other information I just posted?

We actually live in one of the best neighborhoods in the state. Just because the girls at our school are mostly whores doesn't mean our neighborhood is bad.
