It seems that they don't plan on making all 7 Narnia books into movies.

They started at the 2nd book (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) and now they're making the 4th book (Prince Caspian) into a movie.

Why could this be?

Every book helps you learn something about Narnia even The Horse and His Boy, which helps you learn about Calormene, Archenland and the surrounding lands of Narnia.

I think they're going to have a hard time tying everything together if they make the Last Battle into a movie as it actually does tie all the books together.

I hope they end up making The Voyage of the Dawn Treader into a movie as it seems like it has the potential to be a very good movie.

Fell

I haven't read all of the Narnia books. But this new movie seems okay.

I liked the first one.

Spongebob does not approve

Tahrann

I liked the first one moderately. I would like it more if they actually kept it as close to the story as possible.
Puts the lotion on the skin or it gets the hose again!

Apollo

prince caspian looks real cool.
magicians nephew was good but is just too slow and like genesis so it may not be a good movie.

Gamemaster

Think about it this way which book has more action, death, fight, and all that good stuff those are the books that will be made into movies.

They're probably releasing them 2 ->  4 because that's the way they were originally released.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Prince Caspian will be the last Narnia movie made by them because "the series gets too dark". Sad. :( The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was my favorite Narnia book.
Holy crap all my sigs were always poop. Best leave this space alone.

I looked into that and I did notice that C.S. Lewis released them in that order.

I think it'd be too confusing for viewers that aren't familiar with the Narnia books to release them in that order. It's not like Star Wars, which was released 4, 5, 6, then 1, 2, 3.

The original publishing order for Narnia went something like: 2, 4, 5, 6, 1, 3, 7

I'm ashamed to say that I have never read them. I always wanted to, but just never did. I really liked the movie though & will definitely see this next one.  I will have to be sure & get the books - that will be my next reading project while I'm waiting for book 3 of the Inheritance Trilogy, which doesn't come out until this summer.

That was the most epic book in the series. I read/own every Narnia book.

I read "The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe" and saw the movie.

Hated both, never read another Narnia book. :robotsad:

But the story is terrible.
