NS2 also has more members which means you get replies faster. Also, I like their board software (Invision) better.

But this one is free of anoying controversy, so it kind of evens itself out.  ;)

Spam is mostly in power on.. but other than that you're right.
As for a week... I'm not so sure about that, but if the problems don't even out, then I guess its very possible.

This place would be better if more people were here, but not too many.

I remember when NS2 was the place for "grown ups". That was when it was less popular. As soon as  nearly everyone joined there, it became spammy and this place started seeming more mature.

As a former NS2 staff member I can say that no matter what I tried to do we just could not get on the same page. I was considered on of the better moderators since I was not too strict or lienient. I always did what I thought was right for the users and that is what got EJ mad at me and got him to kick me off the staff. He did not like that I was telling everyone the truth even if it made him look bad.

Well that being said I will admit you guys do have a very nice forum here and I do enjoy my time here and plan to spend more time here than on NS2.
