Not sure if I posted this already, but I might have a video up this weekend. I might be going to a smash fest, and I'm sure there will be videos there, and if not, I'll probably be going to a friends house, and we might play smash there.

I saw the last page about shffl-ing.  I do that without L-canceling with Yoshi's sex kick and Fair.  Works pretty well!

I hope you aren't expecting to much from the players here, HtA. I'm sure that out of any of the smashers that post videos, at least 75% won't even be able to shffl.

Short hop fast fall l-cancle

Don't know how to short hop. Don't know how to l-cancel. I'm fairly certain that I'm a Smash n00b. Someone help. I can't post a video.

Ok, L-cancel is one thing. But short hop? O LAWD.

Go turn start a match (or training) with bowser, press x and hold it down for like, a second. See how high he jumps. Then press it as fast as you can. YOU KNOW WHAT A SHORT HOP IS NOW.

God we need an advanced techs thread to teach them what DJ canceling is jump-grabs, dashdancing, wavedashing etc...

I was thinking about copypasta'in most of the stuff from the glossary on SWF. I want to clean up the board first though. Maybe get rid of some of the floated threads...

There is also my idea of a "pro-tip-b***-get-tip-pro-tip" podcast of sorts. :P

All these advanced techniques scare me. The only one I implement on a regular basis is teching. Well, I think it's teching...

It's a good idea to know them for SSBM, as most people know of them.

Not sure if they will be in SSBB....might not want to waste your time in learning something that might not
be there, but hey I don't know.

Yes, and you dont have to L-cancel every move either.
Take Marth's or Link's A-down,

They NEED to be l-canceled to be effective, but a move with heavy knockback doesn't really need it since you are giben ample time to recover.

ya, LIKE Yoshi's Fair, but it still helps with mindgames, a LOT.  throws timing off so bad when you are trying to predict what will happen  :D  I love using it!
