Yeah, if you have all white pikmin, it will be even shorter.
But mabye his attacks are so strong it will make up for it or something.

Besides... it looks like it has as much range if not more as other recovery moves like Mario's and Peach's. You shouldn't ever be out of Pikmin anyway, it probably takes half a second to pluck one.
