Yeah, Brawl feels so...unreal. Not sure if you know what I mean. What I mean is, we first heard about a 3rd installment to SSB when the Wii was 'Revolution' and Brawl was 'Super Smash Bros. Revolution' (SSBR). I was excited back then as I am an avid fan of the series. Though we knew very little about it, just that it was in development. We'd have never guessed that it'd have all that it has.

When I first saw the Dojo, it rebuilt the hype that I lost for it over it not being talked about for a long while. Daily updates gave us peeks into what it'll be like. I remember seeing the SSE update. I had expected a half-assed adventure mode like Melee's, but no, SSE is huge. It could be its own game pretty much. It forces you to use all the characters in one play through unlike Melee's which was one per play through. And the fact that has online Co-op is a huge plus as online connectivity is almost a most for games these days.

And how you get trophies looks very interesting. Shooting coins (or what was it? I forgot. Dx) at them to win them in this classic arcade way just brings back some good memories. And getting SSE bosses as trophies requires both skill and luck so it won't be done with no effort, which I like a lot.

WiFi is added which I'm sure a lot will be using. This allows for so much; tournaments, casual play, and forum rivalry (see stickied thread for more information on NSF's forum rivalry!). And, if you play with friends, you can have a customized text for your taunt (ex: "A winnar iz mii" will be above your head when you use the correct taunt button or whatever you set the text to say).

Then we got 3rd part represantation (so far Snake and Sonic). This opens the door for many characters like: Geno, Megaman, Pac-Man, Sora, and others. Now, not all will get in, but I am sure that Sakurai picked wisely. Though, I doubt Geno would count towards it as he'd probably be added to the Mario series roster.

There's just so much in it that it just feels like its too good to happen. Like its a dream or something.

Yes, Wiis are not region free.

Not only will he have to wait like 4 more months for the game, but he'll have to pay $100 for it.

It costs a lot to ship things to Austrailia...

Yay for DS.

Boo for Perrin Kaplan who said Wii was region free before it launched.

Besides, who wouldn't want to play this game about Japanese festivals?
