"Yes," replied Darkrai. "And if the Adamant Orb is no longer here, than someone has taken it. So both orbs are gone."

He made a portal. "We must track down the orbs for the plan to come to fruition."

He was about to step through when something glinted in the corner of his eye. he paused and looked around, and he noticed a small blue crystal sticking out slightly out of the ground, partially submerged in the rock somehow. He drifted over and tried to pull it out. It would not budge, so he attempted a Psychic to try to lift it out. However, that proved unsuccessful.

"Hm," he muttered. "Though I can't be completely certain, I would say this is the Adamant Orb, or at least a shard. Somehow, it has been submerged into the earth. It seems impossible to pull it out. However, there is also a good chance that this is one Arceus's plates, hidden in a similar manner. But if it were to be the Orb, then we needn't pull it out. Bringing the Lustrous Orb would be enough to summon Palkia, and then we could get the other. But if this is one of the Plates, then Arceus will find out that we are here soon enough. Come, we must find the Lustrous Orb."

With that, he created a portal and stepped through.

At those last words, his right wing began to glow, and he swooped down at Roy and slashed it at him.

Or maybe he's just overthinking things... Kyle thought while stepping into the portal after Darkrai.

Kristal walked into the next car, but nothing suspicious was there either. Just ahead was the front of the train. "Maybe something's going on in there," Kristal thought out loud. She turned around to Ozymandias. "What do you think we should do?"

Darkrai's portal opened up into... wherever they were before they went to the Spear Pillar.

"Listen, we can't just run away, but we can't let our guard down either. Why don't we split up, and investigate the train. Maybe it's a technical difficulty, an attack, or the driver is drunk." Spike said sarcastically on the last part. Spike stepped out of his compartment and headed down to the back of the train.

If it's an attack, I hope they don't board the train...

Kristal opened the door to the front of the train, and in the room was... nothing. Not a trace of the person driving the train, or any assailant. The window was open, though. She peeked out of it, but there was nothing there, either. Strange... It was then that she felt something trickle on her shoulder. She looked, thinking that there could be a leak, but she was wrong.

It was blood.

Spike felt more disturbed as he walked farther back into the train, like all hope and courage inside was fading away, being replaced by fear and cowardness. Spike sensed that either something bad was back there, or someone was trying to prevent him from heading down there. Spike took the second answer and struggled to not chicken out as he walked slowly, as if a wind was pushing him back. He stopped for a moment and wondered if Ozzy and Kristal were feeling alright.

They're fine, they have each other, I guess maybe I should leave them alone for a while, WAIT! WHAT AM I THINKING?! I'M NOT EVEN SURE IF OZZY LIKES HER AT ALL! Why am I thinking this way? God, I'm starting to sound like Trigger................

Spike realized that he doesn't even think like this, he never, something was wrong.

This force we're dealing with is much more stronger that I thought, it's trying to make me worry about my friends, obviously it's trying to send me back. I must go on...

Spike finally reached the end of the compartment part of the middle train and opened the door. The train still wasn't moving, so with no caution, Spike jumped to the next compartment and opened the door.

"What the-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Trigger was snoring, when Spike's scream woke him up.

"Spike? SPIKE!" Trigger burst out of his booth room and galloped down the hallway, unfazed by the affects.

"Hang on Spike, I'm coming!"

Lucas got up. " Why are .sniffle. you shouting Spike," he said, even though no one heard him.
He got up and realized no one was in the compartment with him.
" .sniffle. Kristal, Ozzy, Spike," he yelled," where are you guys!?"

Trigger didn't have time to answer and jumped through the door and landed on the compartment bridge. He crashed through the other compartment door and looked around.

"Spike? Spike where are you?" Trigger then found Spike, huddled in a corner, scared to death. He was crying, and seemed to be in a nightmare, thrashing about.

"NO DAD! PLEASE, DON'T LEAVE ME, GIVE HIM BACK! NOOOO!" Spike shouted.

"It's okay, Spike, calm down, everything's okay."

"COME BACK DAD! I NEED YOU! PLEASE DON'T GO!" Spike ignored Trigger and pushed him away, still thrashing.

"What happened to you?"

"You are about to find out, my firey friend, for your about to join him." The voice sounded devious, yet familiar.

"Sp-sp-spiritomb??" Trigger panicked.

"Spiritomb?! You mean that loaf of an excuse for a ghost? No no.....Trigger...I'm Giratina....HYPNOSIS!" The next thing Trigger knew, he was feeling drowsy as a purple ray beam emitted from a pair of yellow eyes and into his own...

Kristal remained frozen, looking at the blood trickling from above and onto her shoulder. She was too afraid to look up, too afraid to see what the blood was coming from...

When she heard Spike screaming, however, she broke out of her faze. She turned around without giving the room a second glance. She calmly brushed the blood off of her shoulder. She was back in control. "Come on, Ozzy. Let's go see what Spike's yelling about!" She began to run to the back of the train.

Kristal burst through a few doors, and found Spike, Trigger, and what appeared to be another Spiritomb. Or it could have been the one from earlier. She couldn't tell. "What the hell's going on?" She asked.

Ozzy followed and noticed Trigger getting hit by the Hypnosis. He went over to his side to wake him if he fell asleep.

"DAD! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME! NOOOOO!" Spike was still crying, now the floors wet from his tears, while Trigger was still as a concrete block.

"So.....you've come to join your friends eh? Well, Kristal, Ozzy, that can easily be arranged. PSYCHIC!" A beam of kinetic energy shot out from the shadows and straight towards the group.
