good gawd not taht dumb bear and bird. They're owned by Microsoft, so no way it's going to happen. SOrry, but it's not.
Also, don't be surprised if Megaman does get in over Pac-Man...since megaman is more popular than Pacman is and actually still has games worth playing.
I think it's a footrace between Mega and Bomber....with hopefully Bomber winning. I wanna blow stuff up so badly!

1.  Banjo & Kazooie are awesome, and it is POSSIBLE for Microsoft to let Nintendo borrow them.  I mean, it wouldn't be the first time:  the two BK games on GBA were made AFTER Microsoft bought rare, so once again, it is POSSIBLE.
2.  Even though Megaman and Bomberman are old, that doesn't necisarily make them important--I think Square deserves a rep more than Hudson or Capcom.  After all, Square has helped with many Nintendo games, including Super Mario RPG and Mario Hoops 3-on-3.  And, they actually did get some of their own characters in Mario Hoops.
3.  Out of Mega or Bomber, I'd prefer Bomber--Megaman sux.

ONly reason they let BJ on the DS was because Microsoft doesn't have it's own handheld, and theyd rather help Nintendo than Sony, since Sony is closer on the online market than Nintendo is
I sitll think Bomberman is most deserving, I mean, other than Mario Hoops (which was very "MEH" IMO), what has Square done other than rehash old FF games onto the handheld? Not much I'm afriad...but Geno should still get in

Ok that's IT! I'm going to create the ultimate character poll right now!

LuigiMan

The only characters competing for the last 3rd party spot are Pacman, Megaman, and either Black Mage or Chocobo. Banjo, Bomberman, and whatever other other character you might want (Whether it be Viewtiful Joe, Sora, or Mr. Try-to-be-cool Sonic character, aka Shadow) aren't even in the race, and I can't tell you how many times people have mistaken those characters for ones that have good chances. Banjo, Bomberman, and others might have had better chances, but there is only one more spot for 3rd parties at most. Pacman, Megaman, and FF Rep have good reasons for being in over the rest, and I'll tell you why.

Pacman:
If any Namco character is going to be in, Pacman is the one. And let me tell you, Namco and Nintendo aren't unfamiliar with sharing characters.

Megaman:
He's still pretty popular, unlike Pacman. He's also more of the fighting type. But Capcom isn't as close with Nintendo as Namco and Sega, plus recent rumors say that he's confirmed not to be in.

FF Rep:
Although Square isn't in the Triforce Board, they're still buddies with Nintendo. I'm not doubting that Black Mage might make a second appearance in a Nintendo game.

You forgot Bomberman, and Geno would make the most sense as a FF rep.

You're forgetting that Hudson has practically been a second party to Nintendo, usually giving quality effort to Nintendo's systems. They've made every singe Mario Party (so it wasn't even Ninteno's idea in a way, the credit shoud go to Hudson for one of the biggest cash cows in gaming), and Bomberman has already been in a crossover with Wario on Gameboy, so the two companies have collaborated before when moving two characters into the same screen. If anything chances wise it should be a race between Megaman and Bomberman. Namco and Square have other representatives they oculd use as well. After all, Nintendo did let Namco use Link in Soul Calibur, who's to say they won't use someone like Misturugi or something?

Kaz

If Namco was going to put a character in SSBB, I'd honestly rather see Klonoa than Pac-Man.

What are you guys talking about "Megaman should be in before him"

Who ever said that we only have 1 character spot left?

Sakurai said he'd probably only let in around 2-3 tops...so Snake, Sonic, and at most one more.

Of course we don't know exactly, but I'm taking Sakurai's word on this until it gets released.

Yeah, about 2 months after what he told us ORIGINALLY!

He is a man with many interchangable minds!

He's not the dude from Killer 7 here X_X;;

Bomberman/Hudson is easily the most deserving... Hudson works on like every single Mario Spinoff from Mario Party to the countless Mario sports games...  Plus, since when has Bomberman NOT been on a Nintendo console?

You forgot Bomberman, and Geno would make the most sense as a FF rep.

Like I said, Bomberman is held back because there are too many better choices. And Geno wouldn't be a FF Rep, he would be a Square rep. Besides, Sakurai considers Geno 1st party anyway.
