I was cutting a piece of wood on a compound-mitre saw (http://www.handytools.co.uk/acatalog/Rexon_Mitre_Saw_SCM8EA.jpg) and the wood got angry and jumped up and cut my finger. :( It wasn't bleeding too bad. I can't remember the last time I saw my own blood. It feels like burning... :(

Oh lawd, I remember someone getting his finger cut by the Table saw...
It didn't go through but he had to get a lot of stitches....

Our school doesn't even have woodshop. I think that's because it's too dangerous and that money would be better allocated to other stuff, mainly technology.

You get over it. I've had my finger shut in the door and bit by ground squirrels (Don't ask >_>) more times than you can count. One time of which my pinkey finger was just hanging by a piece of skin (It got reatached :))

I've seen a kid accidentally cut his finger, including the nerve, with an Xacto Knife. He only noticed after someone told him he was bleeding.
