funny you mention that cause customer reviews give it a 4.5 out of 5(nearly perfect) and reviews all say how good it is.
the point is bowser jr has proven himself because he has not been out as long as many game characters and his popularity spread fast.

And tell me, if he's so popular why doesn't he play more of a role than "ZOMG I KIDNAPPED ZE PRINCESS AGAIN!" junk. I mean, Bowser is busy creating a new galaxy to rule the universe, Wario is taking Mario castle in the one game he was the main villain, and so forth. BJr. does the same exact thing in every game...so I doubt he's "popular" as you put it, rather than Mario is having good games and people just sort of ignore him (hell, you only fight him once in galaxy, and that was on of the easiest boss fights I've ever played)

i remember fighting him about 3 times in Galaxy.
The reason he doesnt do much is because he is a mini-boss and he is also like 8 years old.
Last time i checked, there arent many 8 year olds creating their own galaxies or taking over the world. ;)

Two of those fights were King Caliente...not Bjr.
I remember the Koopa Kids helping Bowser take over the world in Mario 3 with their flying airship armada X_X;;
I just don't see the real reason to put him in as a playable character.

Yes, that was the third "boss" fight (last planet of each dome)
Giant Robot Megalegs, Bowser, Bowser Jr. on ship, Bowser, King Kaliente.
Bowser Jr. APPEARS in the first and last ones, but he doesn't do anything. He basically just laughs at you because he's "better" (feh, I could beat him as Toad) and sends other people to do the work for him. Again, the one time you do fight him was one of the easiest boss fights I've ever played.

He's nothing compared to the real koopa kids and frankly Geno has a MUCH better move potential than Bowser Jr. does.

Well, what general age are you? (Basically, are you old enough to remember the origional koopa kids on their last game on the SNES?)
Personally, I hate the schmuck. I want the origional koopa kids back. They were much tougher than this prick...who never even fights you directly. He's either shadow mario or in his stupid little ship.

I really just played whatever there was in my house.

I played the SNES, but not to the point that I'd set out to beat a game. I'd just randomly start playing Super Mario World and not really do anything.

I remember I did own the GBA version of Super Mario Bros. 3. That was definitely fun, but then I got stuck and forgot about it. :D

Now, I bought Super Mario World for the Virtual Console and I didn't even realize the Koopalings were in it.

Anyway, I like both of them. I'd love to see all the Koopalings as one AT and do massive damage, just because a character would be really odd.

NONE OF THE MARIO PATIES HAVE ANY OF BOWSER'S CHILDREN.  Those are Koopa kids, NOT the Koopalings, NOT Bowser Jr.

However, Bowser Jr. has been in:  Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Strikers Charged, Mario Kart Double Dash, New Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario Galaxy.

Much more impressive than Geno's 1 game or the Koopalings' 2(?).
