If Sakurai had just at least kept the other 5 veterans there would be 40 characters. I guess he was more concerned about music. ????

the only way he could say that young link returned is to say that he got plastic surgery which is making him Toon Link. I like Toon Link, but why not put Young Link back for the heck of it?

if you have a ton of clones, characters would get boring quickly. this 35 roster is fine with me

They were going for a TP-ish theme for Zelda, Toon Link being an exception. Young Link wouldn't fit in at all.

And technically, there are actually 40 characters, if you count the PKMN Trainer's Pokemon, ZSS and Shiek. But meh, ZSS is almost unplayable in the first place, so...

I'm fine with the roster. More good then bad in it.

hey i'm satisfied with the 35 characters, but they could've easily added more, especially with all that time they had.
