DMDTS Episode 2/14: Party Under the Moon

[Flying Chickens]

"Alright, mate. I get my blood in them. They kiss, and fall in eternal love. The two are together, they keep out of our hair. Yada yada, Larry's your uncle, Barbara's your wife.((Or something like that. >>))" He explained, doing little movements with his hands. "And then we hunt down a certain Dead Woman and I use my expertise of the female persuasion to woo said Dead Woman." He nodded. "Savvy?"

[Max Headroom]

"That sounds unnatural! But only because that's forcing emotion!"

[Dr.Hobo2]

"So? Whatever he does couldn't get worse than marriage." Lanbar said popping into the conversation.

"That's mean!" Tanbar said punching Lanbar in the arm.

"Ow! I was only kidding...And what happened to your hyper-activeness?" Lanbar asked.

"They...banned me from the candy table." Tanbar said looking down and Lanbar trying to hold back his laughter.

"So -snicker- who's this Dead Woman I just heard about?" Lanbar asked Zarani.

Zarani shook his head. "Fine, mate. I don't suppose you have any other ideas." Zarani glared at Tanbar. "It's. Not. Funny!" He said, crossing his arms. "And her name is Tess."


A woman in an aquamarine hoody-like shirt with blue pants sat on a bench somewhere in Scalus, twisting her flowing blonde hair around her finger. "So bored..." She said, staring at the opposite wall. On her waist, two knives were clamped onto a belt.

((There... It's the newest Dead Ma-... Erm, woman.))

[Dr.Hobo2]

"Tess, eh?" Lanbar said standing there thinking for a moment. "So...there's a...Dead Ma-...Er, Woman in that group. And why are you so interested in her?"

[Max Headroom]

"Didn't Hanzo have a plan?" Mira said, trying to remember what he was told.

[Flying Chickens]

"Hanzo's a bloody moron. If he has a plan, we're all doomed." Zarani scoffed. "And I just am interested in her, mate."

[Max Headroom]

"But he's really smooth, which is why I even mentioned him in the first place. Other than that, yes, he is a bloody moron."

[Dr.Hobo2]

"Yeah, and I think Hanzo's plan isn't going to succeed because it should be morning soon." He said looking over to the sun that was supposed to be rising over the horizon. ...Strange...It should be morning. He took a glance at a near-by clock. And even more strange...It's still not past mid-night. I wonder what's going on... "And would you happen to have your own plan to get Tess to come here?"

[Max Headroom]

"I've got some resources I could spare."

[Flying Chickens]

"Of course... I don't..." He said, staring at the ground once again. "I'm sure she'll find her way here somehow... After all, it's a romantic party." He said, looking out over the city of Scalus, his eye still searching the area.

[Dr.Hobo2]

"You know...That's got me thinking..." Lanbar started putting his hand to his chin. "Why in the world did we choose Scalus, land of soldiers and power, of all places to have our Valentine's party?"

[Triforce_Luigi]

After a dance, Trin and Venice went over to the others. Venice went to the candy booth and got a chocolate first, however. When they reached them, he tossed the sugar at Tanbar. If he had been happy before, he was purely euphoric now. He put his arm around Trin's waist.

"Mate," Zarani started. He stared out over the city for a moment. "I have no bloody idea."

[Dr.Hobo2]

Tanbar spied the candy and lunged for it and ate it happily.

"Well...I suppose it was pretty useless to ask that question to you." He said with a shrug. "...Hey, I think I got an idea to get Tess over here...but it might be risky."
