I downloaded Abbey Road to start with. What are some other good albums?

Revolver, the "White Album" (offically called The Beatles), and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Maybe also Help! or even, dare I say...Rubber Soul.

It's kind of hard to pick on the basis of their hits, because an awful lot of their biggest hits were just singles. One of my personal favorites, "Paperback Writer," was never on any studio album that I can recall. That dreadfully overrated "Hey Jude" was also only a single. Don't get me wrong, I love "Hey Jude"...but it's not even close to my favorite song by them.

didn't you also download Magical Mystery Tour?

If not, go do that.  Goo goo g'joob.

My favorite, the White Album. So much kickass. u guys, u c, white album > sgt peppers.

Coming next would be Revolver. Though the White Album has some weird screwy poop (like rev. 9 and wild honey pie) stuffed into an album of mainly great songs, Revolver doesn't have one bad song. I like the White Album for the songs on it, and Revolver for being an overall excellent album. (Damn you guys, you made me start listening to Revolver. I'm at track one and I'm not stopping till I finish 'em all)

Abbey Road is alright... I love Here Comes The Sun, Come Together, and Something. But it's mainly a bunch of mediocre songs. I've never really liked Abbey Road much (which is funny because Here Comes The Sun is one of my favorites). Rubber Soul, now that's pretty sweet. It's a cross between the Beatles' early and later stuff, basically. Oh, and Let It Be. It's got the awesome title track and a couple more alright ones... an alright album too.

Sgt. Pepper's is an album I just don't get. I've yet to see how it can be the best album ever, or even the best Beatles album ever. I love Lucy in the Sky, but the other songs just don't stand out much to me. And also in 1967 is Magical Mystery Tour. Buncha crazy psychadelic poop mixed in with the Beatles style, featuring the amazing Strawberry Fields Forever. I played that song in the car with my dad once and after the song went "Strawberry Fields" he was like "Nothing is real" xD

Here's my ordering of the  five best Beatles albums.

1) White Album
2) Revolver
3) Rubber Soul
5) Magical Mystery Tour
5) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

There's a kind of Beatles for everyone, but Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, and Abbey Road are must-haves.

btw guys. I'm gonna download Help! or A Hard Day's Night.

Seriously, I'm gonna do it.

but don't we want to be under the sea in an octopus's garden in the shade?

I listened to Sgt. Pepper's all the way through last night and finally realized that I love it.

Maybe I'll give Abbey Road another shot too. But now it's:

1) White Album
2) Revolver
3) Sgt. Pepper's
4) Rubber Soul
5) Magical Mystry Tour

screw you guys and your octopus's garden.

i'm just gonna imagine myself on a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies.

lol, that justs reminds me. I was bored in algebra yesterday so I turned on alpha lock on the TI-84. I typed in "IMAGINE YOURSELF IN A BOAT ON A RIVER, TANGERINE TREES AND MARMALADE SKIES" I was gonna finish the rest of that verse but the screen wasn't big enough so I skipped to "LUCY IN THE SKYYYYY WITH DIAAAMONDS".

Whoever used it next either said "I <3 that song", "BETLS SUK LOL" or "wtf? is dis sum nu rap jam?"

If you want their biggest hits, I'd recommend the album, 1.

Of course it doesn't have all their awesome songs, just their #1 hits, but it's a good start.

I bought 1 a while back, and then I bought Abbey Road a couple days ago. Both great albums.

Hey, now that you like the Beatles:

Try this.

Red

All of them. I can't just tell you to pick and choose. They all are amazing, but if you like Abbey Road, you should try Let It Be. Basically the same thing. Err at least it's from the same time period. But seriously, you should get all of the albums. I do, and I listen to them constantly.

Let it Be is great, and also pretty underrated. Yep, it's a lot like Abbey Road.

Not surprising, considering how closely together they were recorded.
