Not really. I've been hiking before, but it was those campground set up hiking trails.

hm...there are a few near me, one in particular that you would think wouldn't be as wild as it is...at a botanical garden in an urban setting, with a wooded area that has some simple trails (at least according to the map).  The first time I went on those trails was awesome, though, because I found a lot of trails that aren't on the map at all, and one that was overgrown and brought me to the other side of a fence at a 45? angle with the river below.  I was like "wth where am I"
