A clean one is on the left, one that was exposed to smoking was on the right.

Actually, it has nothing to do with dirt or smoke. The plastic Nintendo used on NESs and SNESs turn yellow with age.

No, it doesn't. The problem is dust in the Wii. It's not a game problem, so delaying it wouldn't do anything for it.
