Also rock n' roll = rock, rock n' roll is just used more commonly when speaking of 50's rock.

I like:
-Rock (classic rock, hard rock, mainly)
-Metal (heavy and thrash mainly)
-Punk (70's punk, 80's hardcore punk)
-Alternative ('hard' alternative, grunge, and some of other types)
-Blues (50s-present, mainly southern kinds of blues)
-Some old rap
